  1. What is Mt Laurel?
    Mt Laurel is a 600-acre Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) with family at its center. Cut into the land with respect for nature, Mt Laurel offers all the comforts of small-town life with the amenities necessary for living in the 21st century. Stroll our tree-lined streets and 5-foot sidewalks and take a step back in time in all the right ways. Mt Laurel is a place to live, play and work, all with the comforts you expect and the extras you deserve.

  3. How many homes are planned for Mt Laurel?
    Once Mt Laurel is completed, there will be approximately 600 homes in addition to the mixed-use buildings in the town center.

  4. How many construction phases will there be in Mt Laurel?
    We are currently developing in the third phase. We are projecting 6 total phases, eventually moving up the side of the mountain and around the back side of Spoonwood Lake.

  5. Are there homes planned for the ridge?
    To preserve the natural beauty of the town, we are not planning to build any homes on the ridge. The master plan has the highest homes along the mountainside above Spoonwood Lake.

  6. What is the projected completion date for the town?
    At the current rate of construction, we are projecting to be complete in 2017.

  7. Are there plans to build along the road from the town to Mt Laurel Elementary?
    The road from the Town Center to Mt Laurel Elementary is planned to be lined with small commercial buildings (offices and mixed use or churches) that will fit in with the design of the rest of the town.

    Mt Laurel is built around its people and keeping the town very pedestrian-friendly. Park your car and start walking. From the alleys to the lake and Abbott Square, there are plenty of places to hang out with your neighbors.

  14. Can you walk to the town center?
    You can easily walk, ride a bike, or drive a golf cart to the Town Center in a matter of minutes from anywhere in town.

  15. How are the streetlights different in Mt Laurel?
    All streetlights and porch and alley lights are specifically designed and placed to protect the night skies while providing adequate light for an evening walk.

  16. What are the neighborhood association dues in Mt Laurel?
    The Mt Laurel Neighborhood Association dues are $75 per month, or $900 per year (billed quarterly). This covers the amenities such as Spoonwood Lake, Olmsted Park, tennis courts, pool, basketball court, and numerous social events throughout the year.
